Vermintown was one of the most singular and special collections I've worked on. Conceived to be as broad and lengthy as possible and showcase a variety of interests, I had worked on it along side numerous other projects for over a year. Life changing personal experiences endeared it to me further when it was cut short as planned and finalized after a series of intense improvisations occurred.

Continuously involving myself with my creativity and my tools of familiarity work continued to take place after Cinco From Mayo was completed. I wondered if the newer sounds were Earthy Boys, more Amwagm, or something entirely new. I'm not the biggest fan of the band name on this project but I think it lines up more perfectly under the same banner that represented the creative force behind Vermintown.

Vermintown was conceived when I had a hunger for a variety of musical creativity and an endless expansive vision for my canvas. Somehow years elapsed and I went from somebody who "had a lot to learn" in my own mind, to completely owning and embracing my visions. Here's Come By Force. A faith and belief in a purity of sound that began years ago. A new resolution to an old belief. And a path forward. A sense of exploration and abandon that's been present but unfulfilled for years. On these tracks I hear the energy and the pure creativity I haven't had the pleasure of playing in the sandbox with in several years. No small debt goes to the pure explorative and playful times spent with people no longer present and related anniversaries.

Once again, here's to Ryan Waple and every other fallen soldier on the battlefield of life. Please continue to reach out whenever you're in need, and please be patient with those slow to respond. Everybody hurts somehow. But we are all playing a part in this balance and we need you to hold the line.
